Kalye Estilo highlights Original Pilipino Designs launch

The newest fashion website of Original Pilipino Designs was launched last May 24 via a grand fashion event called Kalye Estilo, which featured various Filipino designer collections, fashion stylists' and photographers' works, and a whole day where fashionistas gathered and socialized.

Held at Lost and Found 37 in Malate, Manila, Kalye Estilo welcomed guests at the entrada, followed by a view of Timpalakan, a corner showcasing designer pieces and editorial works. Out on display were some shirts from Tie Diet and MNL Clothing, accessories by Hello Valley Girl, designer pieces by Rafael Gonzalez, editorial images from Alex Callueng, Mox Santos, and photographs styled by Gweys Soriano and Kenneth Ramil.

There was a fashion runway featuring works by new and esteemed Filipino fashion designers such as Rafael Gonzalez, Davevin Del Rosario, Nestor Borromeo, Paul Tenorio, Johny Abad, Dave Ocampo, Ganda Anore, Edwin Uy, Job Dacon, Vandro Casiwan, Jeffrey Tope, Fernando Garcia. The show was concluded by Fake Zine in collaboration with Tie Diet, featuring Loner.

Kalye Estilo also presented Salas Talk sessions that discussed the topics of "Philippine Fashion Making a Mark Worldwide," which was hosted by Job Dacon, one of the newest designers styling local and international celebrities; and another session titled "Future of Philippine Fashion" with Paul Tenorio, Fern Garcia, and Nestor. An after party followed the event.
