HBO Go introduces new generation of Pretty Little Liars, Philippines' Lea Salonga also in the cast


Twenty years ago, a series of tragic events almost ripped the blue-collar town of Millwood apart. Now, in present day, a disparate group of teens — a new group of Little Liars — find themselves tormented by an unknown assailant and made to pay for the secret sin committed by their parents two decades ago.  

This is the premise of the upcoming Max Original series Pretty Little Liars: Original Sin, which will debut on HBO Go its ten-episode season on July 28, Thursday. Two new episodes will follow on the subsequent Thursdays of August 4 and 11, with the final three episodes debuting by August 18. 

In the dark, coming-of-age, horror-tinged drama series, we find ourselves miles away from Rosewood but within the existing Pretty Little Liars universe — in a new town with a new generation of Little Liars. This dark take on the teen melodrama introduces the new set of Liars who are tormented by A, a masked killer who is hellbent on punishing them for the sins of their mothers as well as their own.

Bailee Madison, Chandler Kinney, Zaria, Malia Pyles, and Maia Reficco star as the new generation of Liars. The series also stars Mallory Bechtel, Sharon Leal, Elena Goode, Eric Johnson, Alex Aiono, and Filipino Tony award winner Lea Salonga

Based on the bestselling book series by Sara Shepard, the series is produced by Aguirre-Sacasa's Muckle Man Productions and Alloy Entertainment (Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, The Vampire Diaries, You) in association with Warner Bros. Television.
