The Dyson Pure Cool™ Link purifier fan |
In humid weather, we either turn on
the airconditioning at the expense of skyrocketing electric bills. For those of
us who want to save up on electricity and yet still long for some cool breeze,
we turn to our trusty electric fan.
Electric fans these days come in all shapes, forms, and sizes. Technology has allowed electric fans to evolve into something greater than a mere air cooler. There are electric fans that are packed with stunning features that make you grateful for living in this era of advanced technology.
In a media launch held recently at the Grand Atrium of Shangri-La
Plaza in Mandaluyong City, Dyson introduced its state-of-the-art line of
blade-less fans, among which is the Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier fan that
boasts of cutting-edge features that not only provide comfort and convenience
but also promote healthier living.
Aside from its sleek design of being a blade-less fan, the Dyson
Pure Cool Link is also an air purifier that automatically removes 99.95% of
indoor allergens and pollutants as small as 0.1 microns.
The engineers at Dyson combined
their expertise in fluid dynamics and filtration systems with software to
develop the Dyson Pure Cool Link into an outstanding air purifier that gives
you an indication of the air quality in your home, automatically purifying the
pollutants it detects while at the same time reporting the live indoor and
outdoor air quality to the Dyson Link App. Yes, this fan and your smartphone or
tablet can be linked via wifi and you have the power to make the invisible
visible at the tap of a finger!
Developed for iOS and Android, the
Dyson Link App allows users to remotely monitor the indoor air quality even
when they are outside the house. This way, users can stay on top of the air
quality in their homes and set a new air purifying target before ‘very poor’
levels are reached. They can also keep track of the air quality history,
allowing them to oversee peak pollution times (i.e., during certain seasons or
when cleaning or cooking). If auto-mode is selected, the machine can
automatically react to the monitored air quality.
With the Dyson Pure Cool Link, it
is easier to detect air pollutants inside your home and have the means to kill
harmful bacteria and purify the air you breathe. This purifier fan uses a
unique 360° Glass HEPA
filter that captures ultrafine allergens, odors and other air pollutants,
keeping them in the filter and away from human inhalation. It also has sensors
that detects changes in the air situation before automatically adjusting
airflow to maintain the target air quality. While doing all that work, the
Dyson Pure Cool Link manages to do it all quietly to keep your home serene and
allergen-free. In fact, it is accredited with the Quiet Mark by the Noise
Abatement Society and is also certified asthma and allergy friendly by Allergy
Standards Limited.
The Dyson Pure Cool Link purifier
fan sells at P42,500 for the tower purifier and P29,900 for the desktop
purifier. It is available in all Rustan’s department stores and other appliance
stores in the Philippines. For more information, visit www.dyson.ph.
