International K-pop sensation BLACKPINK hits the battleground via "The Virtual" free in-game concert on the PUBG MOBILE platform, making this epic return of the South Korean quartet in the music scene a fan experience like no other.
The virtual BLACKPINK in-game concert coincides with the release of PUBG MOBILE's new Version 2.1 update, which also adds the themed game mode Ancient Secret: Arise, new content through Cycle 3 Season 7 and Royale Pass Month 13, and a lot more.
BLACKPINK fans will have two opportunities to see their idols perform some of their classic chart-topping hits as The Virtual runs from July 22-23 and July 29-30 in North and South America and July 23-24 and July 30-31 across the rest of the world. BLACKPINK will also debut a special track and music video in PUBG MOBILE later this month.
PUBG Mobile and BLACKPINK previously collaborated in 2020 to celebrate the launch of BLACKPINK's record "The ALBUM" which became one of the game's most successful partnerships to date. PUBG MOBILE now takes on the next level by introducing an epic and dazzling collaboration that will give players and Blinks around the world a completely unique experience.
In The Virtual, fans will live the true BLACKPINK experience not only by watching the concert but also by obtaining the custom-made performance suits the K-pop group will be wearing during their performance. The outfits will be available for PUBG MOBILE players to obtain from July 23 to August 31. With these eye-catching outfits worn by Jisoo, Jennie, Rosé, and Lisa, players are sure to sparkle on the PUBG MOBILE battlefield.
Starting July 15, players can secure their free in-game tickets and preload the Concert Resource Pack the very next day, which is required to join the concert. From July 19, players will be responsible for bringing the BLACKPINK energy to PUBG MOBILE. By gifting artists in-game, promotional materials will appear -- the more gifts shared, the more promotional materials. There are also special awards to be won every day, from simply logging in to completing themed challenges.
BLACKPINK's special track and music video, which is created specifically for this collaboration with PUBG MOBILE, will be released soon in the game and in its social media channels as well.

In PUBG MOBILE's new themed game mode Ancient Secret: Arise, bright lights are replaced with dusty sandstorms. Enter through themed maps on Rank mode -- in either Erangel, Miramar, or Livik -- and experience the furious Sandstorm Zone that randomly blows at the start of every match. Brave players who venture in will rewarded with Scarab Charms, which can be used to return to the battlefield after being defeated, only once per match.
Players can also pass through the Quicksand Path to enter the Emperor's Temple, move the Sand Giant and hop on the Ancient Secret to reveal the Pharaoh's spoils. Loot the area or battle an ancient enemy to earn Primordial Water, allowing all players to recover all health and energy.
Several Scarab Ruins and Jackal Ruins can also be found throughout the battlefield. Solving the puzzles or defeating the mummified guardian will earn players valuable crates. Desert Merchants can also be found whose supplies and unbelievable discounts can be bought from random locations on the map. Also look across the map for Scorpion Crates that are filled with supplies.
PUBG MOBILE's Version 2.1 update brings Cycle 3 Season 7 with a new set of legendary items, a new Season Bonus Points Card, and a Rating Protection Card, allowing players to earn extra points from matches and protect their current season rating. Players enjoying Ancient Secret: Arise can also complete the themed story missions to unlock special titles.
New content has dropped for players as part of Royale Pass Month 13: Exo-Genesis, kicking off on July 9, with rewards including new finishes for the Mini14 and M762. This Royale Pass Month players can also exchange a Wingman finish at a 90% discount and get Moments cards, complete missions to buy RP points at a reduced price if they reach RP Rank 50, and earn a free 60 UC voucher.
