Book lovers will once again be flocking to the SM Mall of Asia SMX Convention Center as the country's biggest and longest running book event opens with over 100 exhibitors offering a wide range of literature for leisure and academic reading.

Now on its 38th year, the Manila International Book Fair (MIBF) promises to be bigger as it now occupies two floors of exhibit space to cater to more than 150,000 visitors over its annual five-day run, which is happening this year on September 13 to 17 from 10:00 AM to 8:00 PM. MIBF 2017 expands its exhibit area at the MOA SMX Convention Center from 9,130 to 11,980 square meters as it dedicates the entire second floor to children's books and young adult books.
