NCCA Calls for Writers' Prize Entries

Budding Filipino writers will once again get the chance to let their works be read by the country's esteemed literary gurus as the National Commission on Culture and the Arts (NCCA) calls for entries to its 2013 NCCA Writers' Prize.

This year's Writers' Prize categories are Poetry (written in Bikolano), Novel (written in Ilokano), Essay (written in Cebuano), Short Story (written in Filipino), and Drama (written in Waray). For guidelines and application forms, visit the NCCA website at www.ncca.gov.ph or the Plan/Policy Formation and Programming Division (P/PFPD) office at the Arts Section, 5th Floor, NCCA Building at 633 General Luna St., Intramuros, Manila.

Deadline for submission of entries is on July 31, 2013, so you have at least one month to start writing and finish your would-be masterpieces!
